New Icons <84723 :o Lindsay Lohan

Yesterday I got a teensy bit of inspiration and I jumped on it and ended up... crushing it. xD But I've made a some new icons!

These two are my favorite out of all the ones I've made today. You can check them out here.

I've gotten some questions as to why not make a new website just for icons. It 'is' an icon site basically just an addition to Hidden Promise. I'm working on making a few more icons today as well as making a few more tutorials for icon design and graphics ... beautification.

Although there isn't much to comment on these pair of icons (since there is only two and they are rather small). I would like to say that the first one is kind of confusing. It actually doesn't look to much like Lindsay Lohan at all. Other than that, they are pretty good, and function as to their purpose. I would also like to mention that the second one is much better in many ways including the typography and composition.

After looking at some of your other work it seems clear that you have done much better stuff than these two .

I was thinking that the first one didn't look like Lindsay Lohan at all myself but then when I clicked on your link and saw that it was not in fact Lindsay Lohan, I felt a bit better about it considering that I could not see it looking like her at all. With those two obviously because of the initial confusion I found myself liking the second one better because that one was so obviously Lindsay.

However, I went beyond the surface and checked out your gallery of icons and I have to say that you have done a really wonderful job with them. I am always curious with the various artsy ways that people put together icons, so I had to check them out. I think you have done a fantastic job with quite a few of them and the two that you have shown here do not even begin to display just how talented you truly are. You should totally put together a tutorial site for fellow icon makers because I know that I always enjoy looking up a good icon tutorial every now and then and I know there is a big interest in it. I would imagine that a lot of people would want to stop by and take a look. Anyways great work with your icons and thank you for sharing them with us here on the forums. I was pretty impressed with what I saw on your site. Keep up the wonderful work!

I don't actually see any icons in this post, but I went to your gallery, and the icons there look very nice - colorful, focused and expressive.

I see you're an Ugly Betty fan? I've watched the original Columbian version of the series, and the Russian version too, but not the American one. Is that one fun?
