I heard that they would be showing a new spot about Wall-E during the Superbowl on Sunday, has anyone heard anything about that??

I havent heard anything about that. A majority of Super Bowl commercials air later anyway, so it's not a big deal if I don't see it on Sunday.

Wall-E looks good, I remember seeing a preview for it the last time I was at the theater.

I saw the spot for it, but I have not actually seen it or heard much more other than what we saw during the Superbowl stuff. To me when I saw it though the little robot or whatever it was kind of reminded me of that one robot in the movie where he was called Johnny Five with Steve Gutenburg, but I cannot for the life of me remember what that movie was called. Pixar animations are usually pretty good though, so I am sure this one will be as well.

I've heard a little bit about it, but not really enough to know what it's about apart from it features a robot of some sort.

I'm guessing it'll be of pretty decent quality though, given Pixar's reputation over the past couple of years.

No Superbowl for me, so that rules me out of that conversation Silly

Might be a good fun movie to watch though.

Ya, he does look like Johnny #5, but I feel like it's b/c he is a robot. How awesome would it be if Wall-E turned out to be our generation's "ET". Pixar does always make such awesome movies and before when "Finding Nemo" came out I wasn't interested, but now it is my favorite Pixar movie. I can't wait for Wall-E..it's been too long!

Pixar usually points out decent movies. My personal favorites are the Incredibles and Monsters Inc.

Wall-E looks good, but I doubt it will be ET for this generation.

I hadn't heard about the movie yet but it looks very nice Smile And it probably will be as most of Pixars movies are at least decent.

What I do notice by watching the trailers is that it seems like Pixar is trying to be some more realistic with this movie. What I mean is that it looks like they dropped the cartoon-look for this movie, which is a good thing in my opinion, change is always fun Smile

I'm going to try and watch this movie someday, somehow. It looks like one of their better movies, anyone knows a release date?

Ya, ruyss I agree, this movie definitely has something special to it, but I can't quite figure out what..the character of Wall-E is so unique and lovable itself. I think this film is slated to release June 27th, 2008..we got some time..

I'm a fan of pretty much anything Pixar puts out, so I expect that I will like this movie just like all the others... Yet at the same time I don't know much about this movie. At first it didn't look all that interesting, and to be honest I have no idea where they came up with the name "Wall-E". Maybe it's just Wally, made robotic...

He does look cute, though I suppose that's the whole point -- to convey a feeling of emotion towards the character even though he's just a robot.

I'll probably end up seeing this one way or another, but I haven't been much of a movie person for the past 1-2 years so I probably will wait for it to come out on DVD or Blu-Ray.. (one of these days we'll be able to stop saying Blu-Ray and just say BR).

You know, I felt the same way when I saw the previews for Monster's Inc. it was a story about a monster, but it ended up being my favorite. Same with Finding Nemo, just a little fish...and Ratatouille..a rat that's a chef?

That's why I respect Pixar so much. They have such out-of-the-box creativity and really brings out the imagination onto the big screen. The trailers have peaked my interest just enough, that I am anxiously waiting for more images and info. about the movie!

That, I agree with completely. Something about Pixar movies just make me happy inside. haha

EDIT: I have to add something here, because I just watched the trailer in HD. Wow. That's all I can really say. I think they have me hooked yet again! His character is so incredibly cute. Shocked

ROB (the NES accessory, now in the new Smash Bros game) reminds me of Wall-E. Now I want to see the movie even more because ROB is so awesome.
