Yeah, he's the only one that does the administrative things like answering support tickets and the like, but he does have some help around the site. Everyone with "LP-" in front are moderators.

Xore is the one that wrote the PBPP system... but I don't believe he does any of the administrative work that Trel does.

I think all you can do is be paintent (unsure of spelling)

The service here is usually good, but things do happen occasionally

Ocasionally? It's going on for months, and Trel just doesn't seem to show up. So I'm also planning to switch to paid hosting in a few months if this keeps going on.

As far as I guess, it should be used the 'patient' word there.

Come on, guys. There's no reason to switch away from LLP. Assuming you already have hosting, there are very few problems with the service. As long as you don't have to open a support ticket for any reason, then Trel's (lack of) actions don't really affect you. Sure, sometimes the PBPP are deducted a little late, but that's OK because you'll have a few extra days into the next month (usually), giving you just about a month to get your points. And as long as people don't leave, there's plenty of time to rack up enough PBPP for great service.

Sorry to everyone that doesn't have hosting/needs support. Hopefully Trel can get to you sometime in the near future (sometime before the end of time).

I don't agree with you Pie32. Support is something needed. I know the server is working, everything in cPanel works fine, the points deduction is done (a little bit late but no problem) but you still need support. I opened about 10 tickets in 2 years. There isn't only one reason but for example now I need a plan switch and I can't do it myself. Imagine only one person opened about 10 tickets, What about others? The support forum is something useful for short or easy answers... those you can answer yourself if you read the Knowleadge Base of if you look at Google. It's also useful when Trel is here to answer. Otherwise you need support tickets answered.

I have waited a lot (about 40 days) and I still don't have my ticket answered. But no problem: as someone said this is a free service and it's not correct to complain because Trel gives this for free and works for free. And he is a busy person as someone else said.

He is not giving support at the moment and he is not approving new memebers but he is arround and working for Lifelesspeople. He did some upgrades to cPanel and yesterday he was working in PHP5 (maybe someone noticed the Internal Server Error).

As Trel says: take it easy Smile

That's exactly what I mean.

I just opened 1 support ticket in 2 years, but it's just nice to know if I'll have a problem soon, I can count on some support.

Also I kinda think the whole future of LLP is uncertain. If Trel decides it was enough, and he won't pay for the servers we all suddenly lose our hosting.

Just the uncertainty, and not knowing if there'll be support when you need it is already a good reason to switch to paid hosting.

I think if one day Trel decides it's enough for Lifelesspeople, we can organize ourselves and give him the money for the server. Maybe we can ask for a volunteer or a group of volunteers to offer free support.

I don't know how many active members there are and how much of them are willing to pay for the server but I thinks it's a certain possibility.

Well... I hope Trel continues here. I like things he have done for a better hosting experience, the LP's exclusive improvements and when he tell us LP's news and information Smile

If Trel is one of those people who just stop providing the service as he like, it won't be up for 5 years (going into the 6th soon!). Wink

I agree the support is slow (my reply has not been answered and I sent an email to him - no replies).

Well, at least Trel made an announcement, so I guess he's still there and busy answering all your support tickets and hosting requests Very Happy

He may be too busy with something and can't get on to L2P.

My support ticket has been opened for a month too.

It's some problems but I need it fixed ASAP.
