Excellent! I've also seen other pencil artworks and I've always been amazed. Only one thing that makes me think that the face is made out of plastic. There are parts which are not touched at all (or at least it seems like it) which make it look too shiny for ordinary skin. It still looks good to me though. I just can't do that. It's a gift you know... _________________ [img:1125b12b7f]http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/2860/evsimplesm9.jpg[/img:1125b12b7f] |

Yes, this one looks a lot better than your previous one that you shown. Not only is the detail much clearer in this one, the lines are more defined, and really pop the image out and give it that three-dimensionality that I was talking about your first one lacked. Your erasing work with the hair is also a plus, I love it. Great work. _________________ [img:941f13b8ba]http://thegamersjournal.com/newsig.gif[/img:941f13b8ba]

As I have mentioned in a previous post, in a different topic, I love looking at pictures which people have made, especially on the internet where they are so easy to access.
This particular pencil drawing is pretty good in my opinion. You have added a lot of detail. The hair stands out to me the most. It looks very realistic. The only suggestion which I could give you is that the tips of the hair shouldn't be as rounded. I am not sure how to correct this though, however I am sure that if you search the internet for some tutorials, that you will find them. The next thing which I like is that the eyebrows look realistic. I watch a lot of anime series, and usually in things like that the eyebrows don't look very nice, if they exist at all. Basically in this painting I also like the lips, as they stand out and have a very nice 3-dimensional look to them.
All in all I think that your work on this has worked out, and that you should keep it up and practice more. I would like to see some more of your work and would appreciate it if you could post some here on the forum. |

It looks good, but also a bit skewed. One thing I notice when I'm drawing is that if I'm sitting at a particularly obtuse angle from the desktop, I may not notice that I'm actually drawing something a bit stretched or skewed. I'm seeing that in this drawing, but it might be because of the angle of the photos. Next time I'd say photograph them from straight on. _________________ [img:d156d322f3]http://seriousbusiness.l2p.net/img/seriousbanner.gif[/img:d156d322f3]
