Hi Guys

I have been totally looking forward to season 3 of Prision Break on Five in the UK

However I was gutted to find out tonight that the might of SKY one have bought the rights to this so now it would be available on normaly TV in the UK I am totally gutted. So pretty much unless you have SKY TV you have to wait till it comes on one of the other channels in months upon months Sad

Sky One has poached the critically acclaimed US drama Prison Break from terrestrial broadcaster Five.
The show, about a man who escapes death row, is one of Five's biggest hits, attracting two million viewers.

It joins 24 and Lost among programmes which Sky snapped up after they established an audience elsewhere.

"The edge of the seat drama is the perfect addition to our must-see slate of US programming," said the channel's head of acquisitions, David Smyth.

A spokesperson for Five shrugged off the loss, saying: "In the light of Prison Break's declining ratings we didn't think season three represented good value for money."

She added that the drama's share of the TV audience had fallen from 9.2% during the first series to 8.5% for more recent episodes.

Prison Break received two Golden Globe nominations in 2006
The decline in viewing figures is unlikely to be halted by the move to Sky.

I have been a Prison Break fan since episode one, It's so funny because during the first season I thought that it was really weird that a new series would be called "Prison Break" My thought was that once the Prison Break was over, the show would have to go off the air!, I'm happy this show is back but I'm starting to wonder how this season can really work. I think the plot element used at season 2 was kind of cheap ..pretty crappy, especially towards the end and now It is bad enough that he is back in prison, but now Michael does not have any real reason to keep going. Lincoln's free; the conspiracy's been revealed; I think there is nothing left to uncover. At least with the Sarah character it was different, Michael had somebody to protect and fight for, but now there's not really much point for him escaping other than the fact that he's in prison, it seesm that they are trying to find a way to blend the prison stuff with the conspiracy stuff, which is great I think it always worked. I hope they pull it off, but I also hope that they pull the plug after this season.

Episode 1 Spoilers
Well Michael had nothing but his own desire to be free so that he could be with Sara and the brother who allowed to get him into this whole mess in the first place so I'd say that's pretty much good.

Add in the fact that he was going to be released anyway due to the circumstances with which he was put in there in the first place. And there is absolute no reason to escape because he's getting out in days.

However, by the end of the first episode, it is realized that he's not going to be able to get out quite so easily. No... he must find this person that the people holding Lincoln's son, LJ, and Sara hostage want freed. He's not getting out any other way except through a prison break, and Michael is just the person to target, regardless of the knowledge and preparation time he had before going into Fox River.

We still have characters from the first two seasons but my have they changed. What's lacking is the amount of characters that were there in the first two seasons. Of course, Prison Break is one of those shows were they will just toss in new characters and also kill off characters. But that is what helps to make the show unpredictable.

I can't wait until they'll show the third season in Belgium too. That will probably be a few months after season 3 has finished in the US. I don't want to download the episodes if I can see them later on tv, it just seems like a waste of bandwith to me, because I won't watch it twice.

Let's hope the channels in Belgium don't keep me waiting for too long Smile They only started the third season of Lost 3 weeks ago, hopefully they won't do the same with Prison Break!

Question for those who live in other countries, are you able to access Fox's On Demand player? It's probably setup to allow only US computers to view the video but might be worth a try. Maybe you could proxy through a US located server to watch the video.

You do need to install the Movie Media software or whatever it's called but the video is HD quality.

I completely forgot about Prison Break on Monday so I was hoping that they'd do this again. Last year they had it hosted on MySpace but this year it's hosted on Fox.com.

Check it out: http://www.fox.com/fod/player.htm?show=prison

Wow season three already. I remember when I was watching the advert for the very beginning. I just loved Michael's character from the very beginning.

I thoguth season two was more thrilling but only because they were on the run and the story took us to loads of new locations but I have no idea what's going to happen in season three, some really good plots I hope.

A part of me really wishes that all the mysteries would just be resolved in season three in some spectacular way so I don't have to sit there and wait for another season but then there would be not more prison break.

I can't access it because linux is not supported, so I have no idea.

Prison Break is still great. I've seen the first two seasons, and I've now seen the first two episodes of Prison Break season 3.

I think it's still great, but not as great as the last two seasons. I kinda have this feeling it all starts again, Michael starts off in a prison, just like in the first season.

I have been watching since the beggining and loved every minute of it, many people said Season 2 was a dissapointment and wondered if they were actually watching the programme or watching crap like Smallville or something!

Season 3 was also dubbed to be a dissapointment, and after 3 episodes it is already looking to be a corcker, I love the way they have introduced the new storyline, and the suspense is killing as usual with Prison Break, as always there are already many questions being asked, like whats in the box, IMO i think it may be a body part maybe Kellerman or Veronica?

Now that it is confirmed that Sarah wont be returning it could be possible that she will soon be killed off, in that case how would they persuade Michael to carry on with the plan? except ofcourse LJ, but something must happen! Any thoughts...

I love prison break. I've been watching the new season and i'm loving it also. I haven't been able to really watch the show for a really long time. only some of the first episodes.

I think its cool how they can base a show off of people always trying to break out of prison, and keep it going for years haha. You'd think it'd be lame and the same thing over and over, but its cool.

I need to go buy or rent the first two seasons dvd's because I have no idea how that guy ended up in a jail in Brazil or wherever they are.

I'm going to watch episode 4 in a few minutes. I hope it'll be just as enjoyable as the previous episodes.

What a great episode, it keeps going from strength to strength! Suprised about Sara but we all knew she left the show, so they had to kill her off, I tihnk the evil woman has a thing for Linc. I loved the Sucre bit, glad he is helping, and also wonder if Bellick will blab to Cadron (sp?) about who really Tedoro is! hehe cant wait until next week Very Happy

Why don't you watch it on your computer? You can easily downlad it from a torrent site (i won't tell any sites cause i don't think it's permited).

I think they should have finished it in the second season. The 3rd one is bad. I don't know how to say that in english but in Bulgaria we say that they "Raztqgat lokumi" or "Prekaleno e vodnist". They are just repeating the same thing over and over again...

i love prison break, im so glad i have sky seen as though in the UK seris 3 has been played on there.
Now theres a break over christmas Sad

The 1st and 2st seasons were really good, the 3rd is a bit unrealistic. Schofield has never been to that prison and he has no clue of its layout its kinda hard to believe that he will know how to escape, yes i know he is very clever and is an architect so he knows bulidings weaknesses (like the bars on a prison cell window), but its really fake.]

Also i doubt that there would be a prison where the inmates rioted so much that the guards left them to fend for themselves and they just parolled the perimeter.

I still love it though.

I´m watching the third season and let me tell you that is AMAZING.

I can´select only one episode because all of them are amazing, and so the parallel histories and also the new characters and the new background... SONA is really funny and also it seems really true to me.

Lechero is the best, his words, his power, EVERYTHING, he´s my favourite of the new ones.

Also, Sofia Lugo is really pretty, I always liked the "latina" style on girls and she´s gorgeous.

I already saw the episode number 8 and can´t wait to see the number 9!!

Prison Break rules... if you haven´t watched it... what are you waiting for?
