Hi,
I am facing a strange with a wordpress installation on my account. I am logged in as admin but their are certain activities that are not allowed to mew and i am getting the message
| Code: | | You don't have permission to do that. |
The activities that i am anot allowed are
1) I cannot add a category, or a user or any of the other fields
Infact i would say i am not allowed to add anyting to the wordpress.
But i uploaded the same files to another server i have an account and everything is working with the same files.
Can anyone tell me what is the problem. Am i doing something wrong. Or something extra is required to done to make it work.
Is anyone else facing the same problems.
Help would be reallly welcome.
EDIT: The wordpress version i am using is the latest 2.1
and i use the default theme and the installation files. |

| I guess this is a case fitting for Trel to have a look at. Hope he does it really soon. The problem is sort of serious since the script is running pretty cool and fine on other servers. |

Unfortunately without more information I won't be able to help.
I don't use Wordpress and the setup here at L2P is unique so it may be a bit of a problem to debug.
If anyone can find a link with more information about this bug (at wordpress.com forums for example) then I'll be glad to look into it. A link to a broken script won't do much good.

I'm having a similar problem with wordpress also. But it's not because of the latest version, because I was having it before it was released or installed. I can't erase or disapprove any comment, and sometimes can't edit files. I have to log in through the ftp program to edit a file of the template. As for the comments, I don't know how to do that outside of wordpress CP. Instead, I can edit the comments and turn them into something like "I love Jorjel!". But it starts to become annoying, I have something like 10 "I love Jorjel!" on a single post. It's because of spam that got through the spam filter...

One of you put in a ticket with the administrator information to your blog so I can take a look at this. It must be something to do with the system blocking variables or something like that.
