Ok I just have a quick question. On the plans is the max SQL space that you are allowed to use the same limit that your plan allows? Or is there a separate max MySQL space?

I believe the mysql space is counted in the Max space. So if you have 250mb space, then that includes the mysql space as well as any files

Actually MySQL space is not being counted in the account space. For example I have a +50MB database and cPanel says my account is consuming 20MB (which are the forum files and some other). This doesn't mean you can have a 5GB database on the 250MB plan. You must use something reasonable depending on the plan you are.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You are absolutely correct. The MySQL and PostgreSQL both are not included in the website disk space quota.

You are given a reasonable amount of space for databases depending on the size of your plan. Provided the usage isn't abusive you will not have a problem.

I thought it was included in the total space (someone told me that when i first joined). At least i dont have to worry about the database sizes then.

Is there actually a set size for the databases on top of what we have then

Due to a technical problem with the way cPanel handles quotas (MySQL will crash), the quotas are not counted towards total disk space.
