I've been a big fan of Picasa for years now. Even used it when it was a commercial program before Google had boughten the company. But I am wanting to try something new.
I'm inlove with windows live products. They are just so pretty now, ha. And they seem to work once you get passed all the anti Mirosoft stuff. Anyways I found Windows Live Photo Album which appears to bea beautiful program. I think a lite version of it comes preinstalled on Vista, i'm not sure. Anyways I was wondering about one thing before I let it scan and index my pictures.
The reason I really love Picasa is because it doesn't edit the original picture files. It keeps a hidden text file in each folder which all the edits that you have done to that picture, and it automatically loads that file along with the picture to automate the edits as if they were on the picture file, everytime you load that picture (confused ha).
Does Live Photo Gallery do a similar thing? I wan't to make sure before I actually use it because I take alot of pictures and some of them the only backup is on my hard drive, so i don't want to take the chance of some program doing something weird to to them.
Does anyone know? _________________ http://www.snapcite.com | Are you a music Junkie? if so check out the Music Junkie Ground Zero - > http://www.MJGZ.com
