I might have a look later on but I don't want to deal with another registrar. I wonder how vague the term "small business" is and how far it can be stretched.

You must have a credit card or else you can't do it. Plus, they will sign you up for $9 protection stuff, so make sure you remove that at checkout.

I'd advise to stay away. The deal is only for one year, and notice how they evaluate the domain as worth $35. My guess is that you'll end up paying the $35 as soon as the first year runs out and time for automatic renewal rolls around. Just buy your domain at a place that charges the normal $10 or so. Free cheese is only available in a mouse trap, you know.

If they allow you to transfer it out for free, then they can't charge you. But they may have a transfer free that keeps you locked in. I haven't looked.
