Hmm, today she is turning in both directions for me - anti-clockwise for a while at the beginning, then clockwise.

As I wrote, yesterday I could see only clockwise rotation.

It's interesting, two other persons beside me saw clockwise rotation even I saw anti-clockwise.

I can only see it turn clockwise.

Wow, if this test is true, you can start seeing the clock turn backwards. Confused

I've seen this once or twice before, and every time I see it, I can only see her going clockwise, so I guess I'm a right-brained individual. :p

I can make it her spin in either direction. Though, I have already seen this effect before (and before seeing this example, I had accidently created a very similar effect in a special effects program I was writing). When I first created that effect, I was really confused because, instead of spinning around completely, the sprite on screen spin 180 degrees in one direction and then switched directions. Turns out it was the same basic principle that we find in this spinning image.

It has nothing to do with which side of the brain one thinks (one actually uses both sides of his brain). It's just a peculiar perspective effect.

And, if anyone wants to see my similar effect... 2d Sprite, 3d Space Demo
