After being a fan of Simon Pegg and some of his work throughout his movies including Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, I decided to check out this movie because I think most of the time his work is actually decent. So upon seeing this I kind of figured since it came off as being more of serious movie that I would like this the least of his movies, but I found that I liked this one almost as much as I liked Hot Fuzz having Shaun of the Dead as my least favorite.

When I went to see this I thought at first the beginning was a bit slow and got no where, but once the two friends in the movie get time spending together and Simon Pegg's character begins to develop more this is actually a very good movie. Not only is it funny, but it actually has decent plot to it too. There are some lines in this and scenes that are classic based off of how the actors work together and I thought it was fantastic. It was the first time I've seen a movie with Pegg without his sidekick Nick Frost so I didn't know if his duos in this movie would be just as good, but I thought this move was actually fantastic.

In some cases you have to have somewhat of an off and on thought about humor and what kind of humor you like, but I actually really liked this movie. I suggest if you like serious comedy that you should see this. I thought it was really good.

Anyone else get a chance to see this? I knew I was expecting so much less from it and actually more than I expected from it.

Simon Pegg has actually been in quite a few movies without Nick Frost. I don't remember him in Mission Impossible III, but I've also seen Big Nothing and he had a leading role in it. Big Nothing was sort of weird to see him in because he didn't have his English accent.

Anyway, Run Fatboy Run has been released? Ah, I see it was just released a few days ago. I'll have to try and see it; I don't see many movies in theaters, but when Simon Pegg stars in a movie, I know it's going to be great.

If you REALLY like Simon Pegg - you should try to find the british sitcom - Spaced - on dvd (if they don't show it on tv, wherever you are!)

i THINK this was the tv show that first brought him into the media spotlight, and it is absolutely brilliant! It's certainly not the first thing he appeared in, but definitely the show that brought him to our attention imo.

go to imdb.com and you can check out everything he's been in.

Is this movie already out? I saw Thandie and David on The View last week and got me really excited about this movie. I can't wait to check it out!

Can't stand Simon Pegg!

Some reason I just don't find him funny. But then I am weird like that. You'll find a lot of people that the majority find funny, I just don't.

I liked both Hot Fuzz and this movie quite a lot. Both great and funny movies. Simon Pegg's a great actor too!
