Lately I've noticed that my cookie to stay logged on doesn't work anymore on this forum. Is this something that's been going on site-wide, or some sort of problem with my computer. I'm currently blocking all cookies on my computer, except for a select few sites that I've overridden to always allow, and I'm 100% positive that LLP is one that list.

I would set your browser to ask before accepting cookies. See if any cookie notices pop up when you login.

There have already been some issues with automatic-login, located here.

It's working for me now, why don't you do a hard refresh/clear cookies?

Hmm.... I didn't think this sort of question would fit in the Support Questions forum...

I'll try clearing all my cookies. Thanks.

version2: Sorry I didn't specify, but I did actually select always allow for the LLP cookie through a little notice pop up. Thanks anyway.

I had this same issue, but it's kind of fixed now.

I cleared my cookies and cache. Every time I go to the forum index, I'm not logged in. I have to click "Log in" and it automatically logs me into the forum. I don't have to enter my username and password.

Hmmmm... I've sort of got a new problem dealing with cookies now. They save fine for the forum, but when I try to go to hosting.php, it logs me out. Every single time. It redirects me to login.php, I log in, but if I try to go to hosting.php again, I'll get logged out again.

Unfortunately I've been completely unable to replicate these errors from the start.

The Hosting page works fine for me in Firefox, Opera, and Internet Explorer on Windows, Linux (Ubuntu), and FreeBSD.

I've cleared cookies a few times for this site and still have this problem.

Okay.. after dragging out IE7 I finally was able to replicate the error.

It took some tweaking, but I think we have the problem solved once and for all now.

Give it a try and let me know what happens.

Yes. It works just fine now. And it would also appear I'm a bit behind on PBPP..hmm... I suppose I'll just milk a couple more PBPP out of this post with this useless tangent...

Good job, Trel.

Yo Trel, could you tell us how you fixed this? We're having the same kind of problems on an other forum and the admin can't figure it out.

*pretty please*

Thanks Trel... didn't even have to login again for the last time, it just worked (so the cookie existed but phpbb or the server wouldn't accept it or something?)

When I logged in just a moment ago I found out that the login page is no longer secure (HTTPS).

Well that's good news for me, because in the past if I have to login securely there won't be any new posts showing (I know it's due to the HTTPS).
