Thought I'd bring myself back into the design blog arena. The design is very simple. I'm tired of overly complicated blogs that have things I've never found myself using. So, It comes down to the basics. Post, Commenting, Pages. Easy.

The actual pages aren't up yet, except one post.

Great stuff! Good to see you back. (although you've always had a place on my Blogroll) Silly
By the way, the layout is very clean and AJAX-y. Homemade I suppose?

Not until you start adding meaningful content. Silly
Maybe someone else can give feedback, it's just that some topics are simply overlooked.

Well looky who comes crawling back. Okay let's do this thing:

It's a bit too random, it's a bit to confusing, it's all a bit to anti-communitative on first glance. For example the header text and the title are both different and from what I can gather this pixel based iconography that you have designed has nothing to do with either the blog, ska or anything what so ever. I mean, I may being a bit to harsh but: the point of a logo isn't neccessarily to create a brand out of your site, but it should at least communicate (visually) what you site is about. But let's take a break from logic points:

In terms of layout. It's pretty decent. I mean... it looks clean, it looks neat, it looks very web 2.0 in some aspects which is always a plus. There is one thing I would definately change and that is the spacing of certain elements. You are squishing the text, you are squishing the image! Let them breathe! I mean... you aren't using that much room as it is, it wouldn't hurt to increase the padding of the text so it's more in the layout instead of almost falling off the edge. And how about the image? It's touching the edge! Why not push it in further? It's so tense to look at and read, these elements need freedom! LET THEM BREATHE!

I will reply further when more articles/more content is added.

For a start I like it. It's simple and clean and not over clouded with all the senseless and flowery stuff that you see more often than not in the blogger world. When you add more content to it, I will gladly take another look, but the foundation of what you have going looks pretty good so far. It's neat and clear and those are always two things that are a plus in my eyes. Nice start!

I always liked your designs. It's very nice really, all the elements work great together. It's clean and simple without being plain and boring, I definitely like it.

I like the simplicity of it too - one thing I can't manage to do with my sites.

I don't like to ciriticise people's sites, mainly because my ability with my site leaves a lot to be desired, but one thing that got my attention . . .

the way the content is buttressed up to the top and bottom of the screen, it feels like you should be able to scroll up or down further.

that's it - much better than I'm able to do.
