I got a warning for:
Quote:
You have been caught posting an article that you did not write yourself, without the use of Quote tags (http://www.lifelesspeople.com/.....p?p=473576). You had already recieved a warning on this matter; therefore this is your final warning, if you are found to do this again in the future, you will be banned without further notice.
If this was accidental, please be more careful in the future; the quote tag rule is one of the most important rules on LLP.

But I wrote everything myself...
so should this get taken back?

you can check this article at my blog...

It shouldn't even be posted here. If you feel that something is wrong, you should reply back to the moderator who gave you the warning.

If it is off your blog, even though you own the copyright to the material, it should still be quoted because you are using exact content from somewhere else, despite whether you wrote it in the first place or not. That is my opinion anyway.

Well, to an extent yes. However I don't think the same idea should be set for the story and creative writing section.

That is a question.

Mgccl's posts are written by himself, and he got warning just because he posted them twice, one on his Blog that running on the LLp hosting, one on the LLp forum.

I think Mgccl should not be warned by post his post.

Yep, you are right. They should not be warned, but they need to at least give a heads up that they are doing this. How are the MOD's to know that they wrote the information on thier blog and then reposted it to the forums for discussion.

#1: As a first post meant to spur a discussion. Yeah I think it is cool.

#2: As a reply posted to be able to cite or quote something. Nah, needs to be in a quote.

Smile Heck, I am off to post this post to my blog now. Just Kidding.

Allowing this would set a dangerous precedent. A lot of free hosting forums allow this, and it shows. One well-written (or not), long (or not) post with a bunch of gibberish after it forms a topic's discussion.

It's an extremely easy way to gain PBPP without actually contributing much to the community... That's something that Trel probably would consider "an easy way out".

Trust me, I could syndicate my site to this forum and make enough PBPP for my hosting very, very easily. I'm not sure everyone would like that, though.

I thought over this.

I could copy and paste something on my site/blog, then re-post it here, saying it's posted by me.

But what if it's really written by me? Then the moderators have to check. The post on the forum should state it's from my blog, then moderator should visit his blog, then check if that post posted in his blog is copy and pasted or not.

Or post here, then, a few days later, post it on your blog with the date clearly marked
