OKay I didn't actually create this from scratch (i used the character builder from the Simpson's movie site) So i don't get full credit.

However I did make it semi-3d and shiny all by myself, and added alot of my own touches. I am thinking about replacing my head (the one i used for logos on some of my sites) with a Simpson's like character until the entire hype is over. I think it'd just be fun.

I had to completely make the mouth since there wasn't a default one that even closely matched what i needed.

I actually might end up having to change alot more in the picture, and actually create my own from scratch because I don't know if Fox allows this stuff. The generated image said for private use only, so i dunno.

Anyways
What do you think so far?

Do they kinda look similar?

Private use means you are not using it commercially, so unless you're planning to sell the image or sell your site containing the image, you ARE using it as private.

By adding shine effects it just looks like a plastic doll. Why are the pants or shirt shiny for example? The blending you used makes it look weird as well, it looks like he is bruised all over his face. You can also tell you changed or edited the mouth since it is a thicker stroke, why not just use the same stroke width?

However, it does look decent once it's cropped in that glossy button.

I actually dunno why but i believe my Simpson's character loves wearing rubber clothes.

I'm actually over this. It was fun for a night but yea I'd rather just draw my own.
I woke up the next day and thought it was complete crap.

I don't know what you mean by the mouth. It's actually the same width, unless you are talking about the big blackspot which is supposed to be the open part, i dunno. I didn't spend too much time it on.

by the way. "Weird" is a compliment and thank you Very Happy
thanks for your comments.

I know that i need to quit making everything shiny. I'm weird like that. I'm actually redoing the damn chicken and making his clothes less shiny, because what chicken goes around wearing shiny clothes?
