A continuation of Socceram.net/forums/ Problem(s), which was a continuation of the other SoccerAM thread.

I realize many of you are a wee bit antsy regarding the status of the forum, especially considering it's one of the more popular sites hosted by LLP. But, do realize this, this section of the forum is for site support, as opposed to hodge-podge and chitchat.

In accordance to that, I've opened up the Socceram.net/forums/ Refugee Camp in The Dump. Idle chitchat, broad complaints and the questioning of one's manhood/womanhood/otherhood can continue there.

All items pertaining specifically to the status of SoccerAM will continue here.

That is all. Wink

Brilliantly done, you should have been a politician.

Still haven't answered the question about when the sites coming back or what the status of play is at this moment in time.

So what is the lastest word on the site is it coming back or do we have to find other ways of passing our spare time (the last 5 months has been hard) Sad

I'd imagine there'll be another 5 (minimum) threads for SoccerAM.net before we actually get an answer from the host about the situation. New thread, same old story......

Free hosting, you get what you pay for.

Can somebody please go around to Trels house and check he's ok.
I fear he is suffering from temporary blindness. How else could you explain him posting in one topic that was next to this one, but completely miss one asking him for an update on Socceram.net

I have heard of this case before, think it was called couldntgiveafcukaboutsocceram.netittus

Mind you, we've been given a whole thread to post in called the refugee camp. I expect to be let out of there soon and find I have been given a car and a house by Trel to go with my refugee status, all's not too bad then Laughing

I do care or I would have just banned all of you that whined a long time ago. I listen, but I don't care to respond when I've already posted all the information I have.

You'll now find the forum back in place for now until it becomes a problem at this location or we find it a sustainable new home.

The website is partially broken, but the forum should be fully functional.

Wow thanks Trel. You're a star. First class customer service and real quick response time. Hardly had time to blink in the time the forum was down.

LLP number one for web hosting, woooohhhhhhhh

By the way, what was the problem?

Bollocks Trel, ban me now I won't be coming back to this piss poor sub standard place ever again.

Trel won't because he actually has class.

I, on the other hand, have none whatsoever. I'm a shameless bastard... which is why I was hired.

And keep in mind, the ban was not issued because whining but because of some rather unnecessary posts you made. You're pissed. Yes, we know. State it and move on. A million consequent posts in a row will get you no where except on my S-List.

Any questions like this should be directed at Graeme. I'll be talking more with him about it as I can.

Edit: Keep in mind I am just the webhost. Any questions regarding the website should be directed to Graeme.

Nice of you, except, the site doesn't work

I was new to the internet when I joined socceram.net, I thought the ****, intermittent site, with crappy down time was normal, I figured that , as the host site worked, the hosted site would as well. Imagine my surprise upon discovering a whole new world out there.

People keep their word, respond politely, promptly, in fact, they generally try to do their best for each other. Holy hell, even if they have nothing to say, they at least tell people they have nothing to say.

To unleash your latest pitbull/poodle on the thread in order to ban a guy who actually had a point(whether or not it was repetitive, he had a point), Classy?

In conclusion, do you actually want to be a webhost? YOU TREL, are the guy, who is able to make the site work.

Do you want to play in the big leagues?

And in the words of Colm O'Shaughnessy.

"**** or get off the pot"

In the mean time, can you free up some space so we can have our site back?

How can Graeme answer the questions regarding the site, when you don't tell him anything. Did you conveniently miss him asking you for updates in here.
As the webhost surely your primary care is too keep the sites you host, up and running? And if there is downtime (which people do expect) that you fix the problem causing the downtime ASAP. Do you really think 4 months+ is acceptable for a website to be down? And as it stands, we still don't know what the problem was. All we have constantly asked is that we are informed as to what the problems are and the state of play, if you don't tell Graeme, he can't tell us. So we have to ask you.
