| Quote: | | Boom Blox, a collaborative creation by Steven Spielberg and Electronic Arts, is part of a three-game deal between Spielberg and EA. According to Amir Rahimi, senior producer, "Steven came up with the idea for the game after playing Wii Sports with Shigeru Miyamoto. He then came to EA with a very simple and universal idea to build a game that leverages the Wii Remote and allows players to stack up blocks and knock them over. It was also very important to him to create a game that he could play with his family." |

The game looks fun from what I've read so far. It's about time a decent puzzle game came out. The genre seems to be dying on consoles from what I can tell. I'm a little worried EA might mess up the game though. They have been known for many problems with their games (glitches, long loading times) to name a few.
The release date is May 6 for North America and May 9 for Europe. I couldn't find release dates for any other countries. |

EA is well-known for dropping their standards as they progresses. _________________ 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592307816406286208998628034825342

People that have the game already say the loading times are fast, and no major glitches.
I think EA probably stepped it up a bit, since Steven Spielberg helped out. If it was just any other game, they would've slopped it together I bet. I havent seen any commercials for it yet. Has anyone seen any? I'm not sure if any exist though.
The game looks amazing, and I'm picking it up later today. Single player, multiplayer, as well as a level maker are all in the game. Also, there is around 300 levels for single player. |
