Subdomain change query

I was wondering if changing your originally requested subdomain name into a new one, a year ago i have requested a subdomain hosting here at lifelesspeople.com and now that a year passed and some of my plans and projects have shofted from one to another, i am wondering if i could change my subdomain name to a new one since i can't pretty much fund myself to a domain hosting yet.
