|
|
I've applied for subdomain hosting under http://[mynamehere].l2p.com . Been waiting about 5 days for approval, still nothing...but I don't really mind, I'm in no hurry.
My question is, however, if I purchase a domain name in a couple of months, can my L2play plan be transferred to the domain name, losing the subdomain? And how would I do that? _________________ If you play a Windows CD backwards, you hear satanic messages. Even worse, when you play it forwards, it installs Windows. |

| Yes, via support ticket, well that's what it was for me a year ago, if it isn't the Knowledge base http://lifelesspeople.com/forum/kb.php should have an answer |

Wonderful. Thanks, guys.
There seems to be a bit of a delay in the 'review' system...heh. _________________ If you play a Windows CD backwards, you hear satanic messages. Even worse, when you play it forwards, it installs Windows. |

Simply put, change your name servers to ns1.lifelesspeople.com and ns2.lifelesspeople.com. Then, send a support ticket asking for your domain to be put as the primary domain. |

Wow, now days you have to change the records first and then apply for the transfer using support tickets? Neat |

You can change the nameservers at anytime. You can even not change them at all. But well, your domain won't be operational then.
If you change the nameservers first, and when Trel change it to your primary (main) domain, it will propagate immediately, to save some time. _________________ 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592307816406286208998628034825342
