You need domain hosting.
In order to get domain hosting, you need to have a registered domain (.com, .org, etc..)
Once you have one, you can apply to have your account changed to domain hosting by opening a support ticket (you might want to check the Knowledge Base for the exact procedure).
After your account has been changed, you'll be able to add extra subdomains, add-on domains and parked domains (the last two are useful when you want to add different domains to your account) via cPanel. _________________ Captain Jell-O Buster from the Future

is that possible at all? |
Technically speaking, yes. But subdomains in general are not available to non-domain hosting accounts.
If you have domain hosting (requires your own domain), you can have subdomains for subdomains.
E.g:
subdomain.example.com
deep.subdomain.example.com _________________ Captain Jell-O Buster from the Future
