I'm not usually a fan of things like this movie, but if you go and see it will probably be very funny if you have a certain humor to it. I just saw the movie today and thought it was actually pretty decent. I figured it would be a little like the Epic movie, but this was actually a lot better. I've known of Drake Bell for quite some time and figured it was weird to see him in a movie like this and to see him as the leading part was actually interesting. He played the part actually pretty decent and it was funny to see the situations everyone got themselves into. It was definitely a spoof and it did a good job making fun of some of the biggest superhero movies especially spiderman, but I enjoyed it because they added the extra funny to it. I'm more of a comedy person than a drama and thriller so this to me was better than most of the movies I've seen. It also was big time one of the better spoofs I've seen out of all of them.

They did a good representation of making things funny, the characters were actually great and the plot was really kind of funny. I would suggest if you like the certain kind of humor that comes from these movies you should go see it. It's certainly funny at some parts and some not so much, but you will be able to get a good laugh from it in my opinion. The acting was pretty much horrible, but it was for the added extra in the movie to make it look ridiculous and make you laugh more. So I thought it was actually very good.

Is anyone else interested in seeing this or already has? I do believe it just came out today so maybe not many people, but it could be a good add on to see on just a bored day or if you just want to see something funny in general.

The movie looks funny, but it doesn't seem like anything new that we havent seen many times before.

How many parody movies does there need to be? The Scary Movie series was popular, so they think they have to make one for everything else.

From what I've read:

Epic Movie failed, so they didn't continue the name for the sequel. It was Meet the Spartans. So isn't Superhero Movie, just Epic Movie 3?

Then there is Date Movie, and countless others that I can't even think of.

The fact Leslie Neilson is in Superhero Movie, makes it seem like he has nothing better to do. Some of the original parody movies: the Naked Gun series (and a few others I think) had him as the lead.

Overall, these movies were originally good (the first few Scary Movies, Not Another Teen Movie to name a few), then it's gone downhill. Movie makers need to come up with original ideas, instead of this parody garbage of late.
