I think that this is the best comedy nowdays. Carrel is amazing, also the characters of Jim, Dwight and Andy. Is stronger than me: I can´t watch an episode without laughing from the beggining to the end.

Do you like it? favourite characaters? have you seen the other versions (Mexico, UK, Chile)?

I like the show, but there is a considerable disadvantage. The camera in the show is very bad. I do not know whether tothey filmed in this way on purpose, but personally I do not like it ;]

Is on purpose, because is like a mockumentary, a documentary, but fake. Is like a witness-cam, whose purpose is not to be prepared to film but to catch the moments in the office without interfering with the scene.

I think I might have watched an episode a while back. Didn't really make an impression. Then again, I'm not into comedies much. If it's not fantasy, mystery or murder - I don't watch it!

This is the only show i like watching on NBC. NBC is a really **** company, especially with what they did to Conan, and if it wasnt for The Office, i'd never even turn the tv on to them.

But i usually catch up on episodes via Hulu so all is good :d

I love the show though.

I'd say The Office, and House MD are the only two shows i love watching right now.

I actually hate Carrel but the rest of the cast makes the show good that I enjoy watching it. Stanley always amuses me.

Honestly I don't like the office, my boss does, but he is into shows like that. I actually think the best comedy show on right now is Chuck, and by far the best show on NBC. But I guess to enjoy Chuck you have to be a child of the 80s. Or at the very least it helps alot.

Yeah I actually like the camera work because I think it adds to the wit and humour of the show... But overall I don't sit down and watch it. I think it's because I just don't have the patience for that kind of show when I could be doing something else or watching something else that I'd find funnier.

Maybe it's just not my thing, even though I understand the humour.

I've found my favorite show. The Office is hilarious! I was hooked after the first episode. The characters are so awkwardly entertaining. I can't help cracking up each scene. I'm not sure if it's similar to a genuine office setting, but I'm glued to the TV for a half an hour feeling connected to the group of coworkers. I get embarrassed just watching the characters, but I just end up laughing instead. Each episode is so randomly entertaining. The writers must know exactly how to make me laugh. This is definitely a hit show in my book and I can't wait until next season starts in September.

The camera work is nice, but i noticed alot of other shows do this as well now, and it just gets old Sad

True... though everything nice/successful ends up getting copied at one point or another. It was nice in its prime.

Personally, I think this show has run it's time. How many more awkward scenarios can the writers come up with?

Yes, I read that too. Apparently his contract is about to end and the writers will try to make it look like Michael is taking a long vacation off the office. Is the beggining of the end...

It is terrible news. He is the funniest character in my opinion, I probably won't watch The Office anymore if he leaves the show.
