How about adding a link to display all posts made the last 24 hrs / last 7 days? The "since your last visit" never work here...

It seems quite strange. It works for me (both forums and threads containing new posts - i.e. since my last visit - are marked with yellow color in opposit to white color of the rest.

I allways get "nothing that met your search criteria" (or similar).

Anyway, it works for me as well.

Perhaps you need to enter some search query - keyword(s) and/or author - in addition to the period option.

I think he means the link at the right hand side of the screen, just above the forum names, where it says "view all posts since your last visit".

(Which, btw, works just fine for me, perhaps you have cookies disabled or something?)

I don't really get what you are saying but when I come here and some topics are unread and they are orange then I disconnect and connect again and it shows me that all topics are read even so I didn't read them. I think thats problem with my browser or I dont know... Sad

Don't know if that's a problem... The orange thingie just shows all new threads/threads with new posts since your last visit. If you disconnect and then reconnect it's a new visit, so if nothing has been added in those 5 minutes that you've been away, then it's only normal that they're not marked in orange.

I don't think that's what ambumann was referring to though.

It's strange. It works sometimes for me but other times no. I check and it depends in the number of days or posts that you haven't see (or I think this), because when there are lot's of topics that you haven't see, it doesn't work.
But if there are only few topics, it works. Something is strange with this forum.

Check it. Maybe it can be only my problem, or can works properly without the problem of the messages number.
