I'll start with the simple question - "Why?"

Why the bejesus would people go to this much effort to look this idiotic. I mean, don't get me wrong they are pretty impressive but its not the greatest way to impress the ladies exactly now is it?

"Hey sexy, ever got freaky with a cement mixer before?"

Call me wierd but I just don't think its a new craze in dating techniques.

CLICKY!

On the subject of Transformers. What were people's opinions on the film? I was considering going to see it before it leaves the cinema here. Worth it? I'm not an action movie kinda guy but don't know if this would be any different.

I enjoyed it, never really saw it as a kid I was more of a Mask/Knightrider/A-Team fan...

It was a no-brainer, there are massive flaws in it but for an enjoyable hour and a half it's not the worst big budget film I've seen this summer - step forward Spiderman III...

I have yet to see this film. Apart from one person, every body has has said it's probably the best film of the year so far.
Guess I can't say for sure until I see it myself, but it has been highly recommended, so I will be watching it soon

I heard that there was a movie, transmorphers, that came out a few days before the original movie. Seen a few trailers, it sucks...

But thats not the point of the thread. Do you people really recommend me to watch this movie or just wait until it's on DVD?

I would definitely go and see it. The film depends on the cinematic experience.

LMAO, wow that was just sad. I can't believe people actually do that.

As for the movie, it was great. Best movie I seen all year.

As a guy who grew up watching the cartoons as a kid I love that they threw in bumblebees trade mark. Lifting up half of his face gaurd after a fight to makesure coast is clear. PRICLESS!!! lol

I've heard people slating the comedic elements but I thought it was very funny in parts.

Am I the only one?

Anthony Anderson was great as the hacker bloke scoffing all the donuts and then blaming it all on the girl..

I've totally loved this movie. The effects and dialogs are great. It has a humorous side which was unexpected to me and made me enjoy the movie more. I had a really good time watching it and I can't expect to watch it again.

I totally recommend this movie whether you're or not a Transformer's fan.

The movie was Ok, the special effects were certainly some of the best I've ever seen. I've never seen the TV show, read the comics, or owned any of the toys well.. hmm I'm not totally sure cause I think I remember playing with one at some point, but I'm pretty sure it belonged to someone else. Seeing this movie was the first experience I've had with the transformers franchise. I don't think this movie wasn't particularly good, but it wasn't bad either. the jokes were usually funny, and Bumblebee was pretty amusing. It just seemed like everything else specially the plot, most of the secondary characters, the love interest, were shoved in as areluctant nod to cinema convention, nothing happens for the first hour!, incredibly irrelevant i was about to leave the theatre or start sleeping, suddenly, this was the scene that woke me up Silly .

It was a good action film. There were alot of explosions but the overall story suffered because of it. I had a hard time figuring out who was who throughout different points.

I think transformers had great effects but all movies now do so it wasn't really all that impressive in this sense. The plot is typical of good vs evil thing and the characters were not exactly well developed.

I think it was more intended for a young teenage audience than anything widely appealling to alot of people in all demographics. I suppose the battles were quite exciting and action packed but apart from that I don't really think it was all that much of a good film.

I like the movie too, especially the fighting scene. Too bad, I miss the chance to watch the movie together with my kids. They watch the movie with their friends without me Smile
