I wouldn't blame immigration
I blame slags who have loads of kids before they can afford them and don't raise them correctly. This is possibly the only country where people can have unplanned kids safe in the knowledge that Mr and Mrs taxpayer will provide for their every need - wouldn't be quite so bad if the ridiculous amount of handouts they get was actually spent on the children, most of these "people" live better than people who work hard for their money and all they've done is take us all for a ride after ten minutes with their legs behind their head
I had to visit Heron House in Falkirk a couple of years ago with my brother who was unemployed at the time (I drove him there). Outside the doorway were 3 or 4 "chavs" or "neds" as we call them in Scotland no older then 17 all with a pram. One of them was whining about how she "cannae afford stuff for her hoose" to which another of the ugly mongs replied "dinnae worry hen, jus' go get argos catalogue and tell them what you want and they'll buy it" - the one thing all of these shemales had in common apart from the prams, cheap jewellery, spots, yellow teeth and trackies was the cigarettes permanently in their hands (they were gathered around the entrance when we got there and were still there half an hour later when I left still crying about how hard done too they are)
Don't get me wrong some of these people are unfortunate and want to work but there are others who want to live off everyone else and are proud of it and thats where this yob culture comes from - poor family life is the root cause of it all |

No, the problems were even worse back in those days! The general public had three morning hours, and four evening hours of drinking. Sundays were worse! People crammed as much drink into the short space of time as possible, and all spilled out onto the streets at the same time. It was a recipe for disaster! With the newer extended hours, the problems still persist, but more spread out due to the extra hours.

Well, I have been legally allowed to drink since 1986, and have seen little if any difference between the problems then and now. The difference, as outlined above, is that the timings are different. These days, the problems can be at 4 or 5 in the morning, when back in my day, it was a complete full force of Police on the streets at 11pm, where all the trouble happened in one go.
These days, there seems to be a lot more of a drug culture to couple with drinking, and the two do not mix! I sometimes wonder whether or not that the people taking the drugs to allow themselves more drinking power are adding to the problem... I know nothing of the effect of drugs, aside from the single fact the addicts are costing me and my insurance company millions every year..... And the fact that they are illegal for a damn good reason! _________________ It feels so empty without a signature, so here is some mindless gabble to occupy the space |
