I was wondering someone could take a look at the tickets submitted by myself and Graeme regarding our FTP problems on SoccerAM.net. Its veery important that we get access to the FTP back ASAP as the site needs updating before the new season starts which is very very soon.

I'd appreciate it if someone could reply in this thread so that we know something is been done to help.

Thanking yoooooooooooooooo...

Smile

As far as I know, only Trel can view tickets and sort this issue out.

Do you have access to CPanel? If so, there is a link to a browser based file manager that you can use as an alternative to FTP.

If that's not an option, perhaps you could explain the problem here, and some details, e.g. what error message you get, and we could try help.

Sorry, for some reason I thought when you said CPanel, that you meant the Forum CPanel.

I don't have access to the site's cpanel. That's assuming its located at www.socceram.net/cpanel

I'm new to the admin team and graeme is away on holiday so i'm only assuming its at that address.

The error I get when I type in that address is:

"Not Found

The requested URL /cpanel was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Don't know why http://socceram.net:2082/ or http://socceram.net/cpanel is not working.

Depending on what server your site is hosted on, you could try the following (if you know the CPanel username/password):
http://asgard.lifelesspeople.com:2082/
http://aesir.lifelesspeople.com:2082/

Did you consider the other option I mentioned:

You forgotten that we only have Asgard now.

Plus SoccerAM is not hosted on Asgard, it's hosted on Ragnarok I think.

i can still log in using the Aesir url, i have it bookmarked and i can log in fine so i dont think it would make a difference using either url

If its an ftp problem, have you tried to create another ftp account and use that until the problem is sorted?

Nah, I mean you forgotten that we only have one server now.

The second sentence is an additional information. Silly

No, I thought it never changed from 2 servers, Aesir and Asgard. The last such news I heard was Vanir (sp?) no longer being used Silly

Your account is separate from all other accounts and is setup differently than all other accounts. The only person that can assist you is me. Smile
