I got the seven book Chronicles of Narnia set. It's certainly one of the better fantasy series that any age can enjoy. I enjoyed this when I was younger, and I still enjoy it.

It's interesting to note: The Lion, Witch and The Wardrobe technically isn't the first book in the series, but was the first one written. People argue about the order, but CS Lewis said himself that The Magician's Nephew is the true start. I agree, as it's the first journey to Narnia.

I also got a Barnes and Noble gift card, which I plan to use to get some new comic graphic novels soon.

I just got one book (I don't read much), which was a book called The Godfather's Revenge, which is a continuation of The Godfather series by Mario Puzo. This book, however, is not written by Puzo himself and so I do not know what to expect of it. I don't have high expectations for it though.

I haven't bought myself books for months. I did buy lot of books years before, but had no time to read.

Yea, I should start reading in the new year. I have wasted so much time in 2007, it is time for changing now.

I bought myself Pride and Prejudice, my college bookstore had it for $3 dollars. I also got my copy of The Princess Bride back from my neighbor which wasn't exactly a Christmas gift, but I was so happy to have it back (it had been gone for nearly three months) that it felt like a present.

I actually for Christmas bought myself the book P.S. I love you after seeing the movie. It was more for myself and a book I got for Christmas because I thought it would make for a good reading project, but that book would have to be a great read. It's basically based off the movie if anyone saw it, but it's a lot different. It was a good book, lots of twists and it was a lot different than the movie. It was a real sad story that was a real romantic story, but a real tear jerker for anyone who has a tender heart and I was one of them. It was a really sad book that I had a hard time reading at parts because it was so sad, but it was a great book to read through the parts of showing how love can last even after death.

Another one I ended up getting myself was The things They Carried. It was a good book and I really enjoyed, it the beginning was really slow at first, but the story got really interesting toward the end and it made a good read. If people are interested in war stories with some good plot and true meaning behind it, this is the kind of book to get and read. It's really good.

It was interesting Christmas gifts for myself, but it was good reads even though I did get misty eyed about one of them, they were both amazing stories for what I spent on them at the store for myself.
