Seriously, I think they're irritating. No matter how much my mum and me tried to ignore them, they just kept knocking then almost banging on my door. In the end, I have to go and open the door, and tried to politely tell them I'm not interested. (I'm a Christian, btw)
But no matter what..They still comes back! God, I hate them.
What about you? |

I just googled 'Jehovah witnesses', and tried to learn what are they.
I do not believe in any religion, and as I am living in China, there are no such Jehovah witnesses and no one is allowed to knock our doors and tell such things. |

Jehovah witnesses are annoying and I guess they always will be
Don't get me wrong, I don't care what someones faith is and you can worship whatever you want, even a doorknob for all I care, but just don't bother other people with it. I could even deal with the "spreading faith at the door"-concept but if someone says they're not interested leave them alone. And that is something most of these people sadly do not understand or don't want to understand. They've been here a couple of times and every single time the door was closed just as fast as I opened it . _________________ .// Proud to be Lifeless for more then 3 years \\. |

I hate Jahova's Witnesses! They are like those annoying TV commercials. As far as religion is concerned, I don't want people trying to sell their religion to me. If religion means that much to you, you should be able to choose your own religion without having people trying to choose it for you. _________________ [img:8728bad64c]http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc118/jthomsonmain/l2psig.jpg[/img:8728bad64c] |

Two decades ago they come knocking on our door. we let them in and my mom even though a catholic let them preach me. My mom's main concern is to open my eyes to christianism at a young age.
But what really did happen is that they opened my eyes to the difference about truth and lies. opened my consciousness to logical thinking. at a young age i came to doubt, do such thing really exist... such thing really happened... it's quite odd that they have this stories in their books that made me soooo curious that i started reading the holy bible from cover to cover after a few years when i finally started to know how to read fast.
they made me open my eyes how histories are being weaved and developed. weaved from lies and developed into truths... no offense. it's just that curiousity is what made me what i am today. it's not that i am against religions, i just hate this feeling when i hear or read made-up stories. _________________ Im just a "Fresh-Starter"... I don't think it's right for them to go around trying to impose their beliefs on other people. It's fine if they want to try and open peoples eyes or convert them but only if the person is WILLING to do so. You can't just bang on doors and shove pamphlets in peoples faces and start rambling on about your religion. That is not only rude but disrespectful. _________________ "You Cant Keep Going to the Chicken Coop with Blah Blah on Your Mind When All You Have is Hot Sauce in Your Glove Compartment." |

They can be pretty annoying, that's true. Although I really don't mind that they are Jehova's witnesses... at home.
A commercial once showed an effective way of dealing with them, though. (the man is a very passionate car dealer) _________________ Captain Jell-O Buster from the Future

I have something even better. "Oh, would you excuse me for a moment I have to go check on my prisoners down in the basement. I fed them last week but they still won't shut up" _________________ "You Cant Keep Going to the Chicken Coop with Blah Blah on Your Mind When All You Have is Hot Sauce in Your Glove Compartment." |

Oddly, they were here knocking on my door yesterday. I politely told them that I am not interested in religion in any way shape or form.
At this point, I was offered some paper thing, to which I politely pointed to the recycle wheelie bin, and stated that this is where it will end up, completely unread.
Total wastage of my time was under a minute. That is what I call a result! _________________ It feels so empty without a signature, so here is some mindless gabble to occupy the space |

Most jehova's have a list of people that do not want to be visited by them any more. Simply ask that they do not visit you ever again and there is a rather big chance they won't. _________________

Not to mention that it isn't really safe to walk door to door in most neighborhoods. As annoying as these people can be I would be concerned for their safety. You never know what kind of people are inviting you into their homes. _________________ "You Cant Keep Going to the Chicken Coop with Blah Blah on Your Mind When All You Have is Hot Sauce in Your Glove Compartment." |

Luckily, we don't have those where I live. There are some Christian missionaries, going around trying to convert people, sure, but Jehovah witnesses - I never met those. _________________ Tarakana NET |

Christians or Protestants? There is a difference you know. Only practising Catholics faithful to the Majesterium can rightly be called Christians. Protestants are heretics and consequently are not Christians in the true sense of the word.
Ironically, Jehovahs are a Protestant sect that many other Protestants do not recognise as Christian either. I'm not sure why the Protestants reject them since they share many of the same characteristics as other Protestant sects. For instance, like the original Protestants they invented their own religion based on their private interpretation of the Bible and like the original Protestants they have their own translation of the Bible that supports their heretical beliefs. They also share the same belief that the "end of the world" is just around the corner like many Protestant Fundamentalist sects too. While they do not believe in the Trinity so also do some other Protestant sects which does not seem to prevent other Protestants from recognising them as 'christians' but does in the case of the the JWs.
JWs are in most respects just like any other Protestant sect and will suffer the same fate in Hell as other Protestants. In fact, saving invincible ignorance of the true Catholic faith, only true Christians in the state of sanctifying grace will get to heaven. _________________ Misanthrope: someone who realizes that humans really are as stupid as they appear.

| Oh, I don't mind them at all. If they come knocking on my door, I just tell them, politely, that I'm a Pagan and happy with my faith and then, also politely, say goodbye. They usually go with no trouble. They're not unpleasant people, they're not going to force you to listen to them. There are JW's living just up the road and they don't seem to go door-knocking around here. They're rather nice people really. |
