This seems to be in my mind for a long time, or to be exact, since one month ago.

I had this support ticket opened for one month, which I waited for an answer, and I even emailed Trel to have a look at it.

Then, just a few days ago or so, it was closed. There was no reply.

I know everyone has their busy moments but, if as long as this problem isn't solved I can hardly do anything to my site.

The problem is quite simple actually... My account has some old DNS records left by my previous primary domain, and now that I have changed the primary domain I can't delete the old one.

Because I have no experience with managing cPanel accounts I can't really offer Trel any solutions on how to fix it, but it should be possible since you can manually add your own DNS records.

But if it isn't possible, the other solution I could think of, is to switch back to my old primary domain, delete the addon/parked/subdomains, then switch back to the new one again.

It may be a little bit troublesome, but at least all problems can be fixed in one swoop.

I was already aware of this for another support ticket that I opened earlier.

This matter is being taken care of now, after I opened another support ticket. I do hope I don't need to open another one again...

What I was not happy about, was that I even emailed LifelessPeople and the matter was still not taken care of, and it has been troubling me for a month already.

Guess that you get what you pay for, right?

You can't really expect professional-level support from a free webhost...

Oh, and Trel's been very slow fixing problems (and accepting hosting applications / etc) for years now.

That's an exaggeration right?

My hosting application was accepted in a few days and all my support tickets (all lowest priority), were answered and dealt with in less than a week (3 tickets, one for L2Perfect, one for a security issue and one for a privacy issue - spaced over 2 years, the most recent one being a few weeks ago)

I know Trel may be busy but, he's always halfway through fixing my problem...

What do I mean?

Well he always replied to my support ticket in just a few days after I opened it. So he would ask some questions. But then he had given me a false hope.

When I answer it, I get no more replies again, and that's how that support ticket delayed for 1 month.

Now he did it again. There's no more answers from him... Rolling Eyes

Not to be mean, no offence to anybody, just that there's lots of things I want to do with my fantastic hosting account here, but I can't if the problem is not solved yet. It's been lying around since August.

And if I can get the problem solved in one day, if Trel wants, I can even sign up for any IM that he's using (I know he doesn't, I'm just stating an example), or he wants to use, and discuss with him on the spot.

But now, the only way I can contact him, is through the helpdesk. Replying does not help, and if I open one more, I will be flooding, and I might even make the matter worse.

I wish people would really stop referring to LLP as completely free hosting. If it was completely free, i wouldnt have to post alot each much Wink

I feel i pay for this ha.

anyways Trel is just a busy guy anymore. Dunno, but wouldn't a easy solution be to just delete your cpanel account, create a new one and reupload the files? Then all the old settings for it wont be there.

Doesn't fix anything really, but it'll let you get passed it maybe.

edit:
oh yeah, you'd have to get ahold of him to do that also...

Well, we can't expect professional-level support I guess, I understand that, but right now we're getting zero support. Which is a bad thing.
