The question is simple: which countries have you visited? Very Happy

I live in Greece and I have visited Moldova and Croatia, as part of an informatics contest. I liked much that there is much green inside the capitals of the two countries, since there is hardly any green in Athens.. (the capital of Greece).

How about you? Very Happy

I live in England and the only country I have visited was Wales, for a holiday in 1975 Shocked Shocked Shocked I was only three years of age Confused

I didn't want to go on the School trip to France when I was about thirteen (I didn't really like my classmates) and I turned down the chance to go to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (free gratis and for nothing - the company I was working for at the time would have stumped up for everything) because I can't stand really hot weather.

If I'm the worst person to post in this thread, then the rest will be absolute gold. Sorry, he who must not be named Sad

I have visited Bulgaria (mostly Varna, Pleven, and Sofia) and passed thorough Romania on my way back.

Also I have visited Moldova, Armenia, Georgia, and Russia (they were republics in the former USSR then though).

I live in England. I have visited Scotland, Wales and The Republic of Ireland locally, also France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Luxemburg, Switzerland and Tenerife in The Canary Islands, which is Spanish controlled.

Not bad I suppose, especially as I am terrified of flying!

I am currently in the states and have visited China, Hong Kong (we like to consider ourselves separate from Mainland China), and Canada. I may have "stopped" by another country before to transfer flights, but I don't count those...

Japan, Italy, Germany, Austria, England, and the United States.

My dad was in the navy so most of those was where we were stationed. I am going to try and study abroad in my junior year of college. Maybe in Japan or something, I liked that country.

Sadly, I have only been to the United States (I live in southern Ontario, Canada) and have been down into the US (just nearby states along the border) a few times, although it wasn't really anything special since its not that much different than where I live except for the constant tolls for every highway and bridge which is pretty annoying.

Really? I haven't seen a highway or bridge toll since I left Florida, and even then I only saw them around the Tampa Bay area. You are just visiting the wrong states Silly

Even though I used to live in Washington State, maybe 3 hours from the border, I never went into Canada. I kind of wish I did, I heard that Victoria was a beautiful city. My parents went there for their anniversary. I think it was like their 16th or something.

Republic of Ireland, England, Northern Ireland, France, Spain (including Mallorca and Ibiza), Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Israel, USA, Sri Lanka, Dubai (in The United Arab Emirates), Malta, Egypt errrr, I think that's it!! I'm POSSIBLY going to Poland before Christmas - either that or Austria, I'm not sure yet!

I live(d) in Australia all my life. In particular in Adelaide and Sydney for a year and a half (before moving back to Adelaide).

However, I'd been to Malaysia and Singapore a few time, to visit family and things. I've also been to China a couple of times, and went to Hong Kong a couple of years ago.

At the moment I'm in Canada, doing a semester abroad, and I stopped over in Japan for 3 hours on the way here (does that count? Silly). I'll be staying there for a bit longer on the way back hopefully.

As for travel plans, I'll most probably be heading down to the United States after this semester for a bit of a travel, before the afore-mentioned Japan trip.

1. The United States
2. Canada

...

3. Do the US Virgin Islands count as another country besides the US? I've been to two of them, I only remember one's name which was like St. Martin.

I live in Australia, but have been to:

Malaysia, Singapore, China (and Hong Kong, if that counts), Japan, Switzerland, Italy, France, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Yeah, travelling is fun. Although, I don't think that a list of what countries you've been to means too much without an indication of what you were doing and how long you were in each place. I can't be bothered with that though. =).

I have been to the United Kingdom (England, Scotland and Wales), Ireland, France, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Belgium and a few hours in Luxembourg and Switzerland (for the sake of getting from A to B).

I have never been to another continent before, though, but next year I am going to China by train (through Russia and Mongolia) with other students and teachers from my school. Very Happy

I live in the Netherlands, by the way.
