I have been to Canada a few times and been to a few tourist places in Canada through the years like Niagara Falls, Toronto, Ontario, and Windsor, but that was the highlight of the out of the country trips on my ends. I have a lot of friends who have traveled to places like France, Italy and Greece and they all love it, but I have not ventured off that far myself.

I have never been to another continent before, though, but next year I am going to China by train (through Russia and Mongolia) with other students and teachers from my school. Very Happy

I live in the Netherlands, by the way.

I just wish i could be in europe some time in the future. I'm quite a bit stuck right now until some things are not settled yet. What i like in europe is that you could basically cross countries on wheels. it would be a greater adventure if you could see those country sides rather than fly over it.

I live in Israel (Though was born and raised in Russia. Does that count as a visited country?)

I've also been to Spain, Germany and Italy on vacations. I used to really like traveling when I was younger, but lately it's a drag. I don't really feel like going anywhere, much less a foreign country.

not a single other country.

But Australia is big. If I lived in Europe and had travelled as far a distance as I have (ie the longest drive I have done in one day was about 1300km), I think I would have passed through a few countries.

PS that long drive was all within the same state, too. I have only been in 3 of Australia's states (South Australia, New South Wales, and Victoria, plus the Austrlian Capital Territory, which is within NSW); each of these states is vastly bigger than most european counties by geographical size (for instance, I believe the UK would fit within NSW 13 times.

I would like to add Mexico to my list. It was an amazing trip Very Happy

Now if I go to Canada then I have been to every North American country. I only live about 3 hours from the border with Canada, but have never been there. I like traveling to other countries, hopefully I can land a job that will allow me to travel.

I have never ever left the country that I live in. I have been staying in the same house, same city for 21 years and only traveled a handful of times to other places and the places that I traveled were all inside my country. Tha farthest that I traveled was around 200 kms from my city. Geez I need to travel more.

From the U.S... visited many states here, many of which are more distant than European countries are to one another.

I've also visited Mexico (not tourist-Mexico, rural poor Mexico... tourist-Mexico may as well be the United States), Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic. Plan to make it to Italy with in the next few years and hopefully Greece and other nearby countries too.

My studies might also bring me to Italy or England (London, if anything) within the next few years.

I love traveling, but overseas travel is very expensive, even if you skip out on the luxuries (i.e., hostels instead of hotels in parts of Europe, etc.) I enjoy traveling in such a way that I avoid all the upper-end touristy sort of aspects.
