Is there any particular reason why these Countries would go to war? And if they did, a lot would depend upon their neighbours, and which of the so-called super powers would be there to lend a hand.
The United Kingdom declared war on Argentina in 1982, and although others offered assistance, we took it upon ourselves to regain The Falkland Islands (Las Malvinas), despite being thousands of miles away. Under the Premiership of Margaret Thatcher, The Task Force was sent from our shores all the way to The South Atlantic, and The Islands were regained. Ultimately, it led to the downfall of the military juncta in Argentina, and although I know little of The South Americans these days, it would seem (from what I read) that it has become a better place as a result.
However, I also read that there is some sort of hatred between The United States and Mexico, which means if this was the case, then Argentina would have a huge advantage.
The best thing for everyone is to hope that this never happens, and that we can all carry on in harmony now and into the future. _________________ It feels so empty without a signature, so here is some mindless gabble to occupy the space |

I think the question of this topic is absurd because Argentina and Mexico would not go to war. I think the most powerful military force in South America is Brasil. I think south american countries, at least nowadays, would not go to war. It's a waste of money and destruction. I hope we have learn the lesson about how horrible and unfair war is. _________________ http://martin.com.uy

You have a point, because as such, The United Kingdom did not exactly declare war on Argentina, more advertise the fact that Margaret Thatcher, our Prime Minister at the time, was sending out a Naval Task Force with which to regain control of The Islands. She also advertised the fact that she was sending out some of the longer range Royal Air Force Vulcan Bombers with which to disable Port Stanley Airstrip, and to assist The Naval Task Force as required.
So in theory, war was never declared, it was no secret that The United Kingdom were going to use war tactics to regain The Islands, and put them back into British control. The entire situation was actually known, and still is known as a conflict here. But the anniversaries of various events within the conflict are still remembered and honoured, much as other incidents involving our troops and servicemen are, and they are also remembered on November 11th each year, along with our other heroes who have ensured that there is still a GREAT in Britain! _________________ It feels so empty without a signature, so here is some mindless gabble to occupy the space |

And to think it all started because an Argentine business owner on the island had the "audacity" to fly his country's flag at his place of work!
The british government really got that one right eh??? nowadays apparently the English aren't allowed to display their own flags at their homes for fear of upsetting foreign immigrants - how things have changed!
edit - why the initial question anyway? do you know something we don't?? |

Mexico would win.
Pepsi and Coke both have factories exploiting cheap labour in Mexico. Therefore the U.S would blow the s**t out of any country attempting to destabilise their 'partners'.
Long live NAFTA etc.... hell, even Taco Bell have opened a restaurant in Mexico, bringing Mexican food to the Mexicans |

I think it was established a while ago that batman could definetly whoop on them both. At the same time.
But if you want a serious answer to your question, I would probably have to direct your question to the CIA world factbook.
https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/
I think it provides some basic information on military strength
It would also depends on who attacks who, for the defensive advantage and such (for example, the terrain of Argentina would make it much easier to defend than Mexico's terrain).
But we should probably follow Harvey's advice and keep this topic non-sensical lest it should be locked and ruin all of our fun. _________________ Rashy! |

As most wars are about resources, I can't imagine why a war would occur in the first place.
Although Argentina does produce some stunning Red wine.
Also the fact that both sides speak the same language would surely just cause confusion!!
In conclusion, Superman. |

Strictly speaking, Mexico. Strictly because all of their military technology comes from the US and Canada (wait... Canada has a military!? ).
But that doesn't mean a thing.

You two are fools.
Yes, Mexico shares a border with the US and Central America. Yes, Argentina shares a border with 3 separate South American countries.
But both countries' biggest borders are with the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
So OBVIOUSLY, Aquaman would win. |

You sir have never heard of the "Snake-head Fish."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snakehead_fish
| Quote: | | These predatory fishes are distinguished by a long dorsal fin, small head with large head scales on top, large mouth and teeth. They have a physiological need to breathe atmospheric air, which they do with a suprabranchial organ: a primitive form of a labyrinth organ. |
They can breathe the same air we do. Plus they have teeth! Vicious creatures.
Kind of. |
