i dont know how is in USA but i can tell you that here in Romania, my country, if we see a Muslim, we think that he can be a terrorist:). I dont know why is like this. I really have nothink with other peopels, i would like to speak with a muslim, but in my country arent a lots. I think that this image, that a muslim is a terroris, is made by the last events from history.

Maybe I jumped the gun manizzle. For that I apologize. I dispise the works of racism and prejudice. I hate it with a passion. But I do not hate the people that practice it (alright maybe a little but I am working on that.)

I have a sikh friend, and because the turban has become the symbol for "terrorism", he gets harrassed on routine. Now, I'm probably not the "all american boy", but I am big, so when I'm around, they tend to leave him alone. But, I have seen him stick up for himself, and it makes me wonder, do the people making fun of him actually realise how blatantly stupid they are?

Anyway, I don't hate Muslims, or Jews, or Atheists. Honestly, I don't care what religion my friends are. So long as they're not tearing at my own beliefs.

Now, the whole prejuidice against muslims in the United States is probably due to the fact of the Turban. The Turban is associated with muslims, hence Osama bin Laden wore a Turban, therefore muslims are bad. That is America's logic at the current moment. I shun it absolutely.

I don't hate muslims, as long as they don't threaten people who don't believe or believe in something else. I hate fundamentalists, and I realize that not every muslim is a fundamentalist.

Sucks huh. Sometimes this is how it is when someone from your own religion goes out of his/her way to act like a fool. I too also live in India like thunder, and am surrounded by muslims. The thing is, most of them are actually nice people. If you for example have been living in a place for sometime and some outsider tries to come and mess with you, they stick up for you. However, I must admit that there seems to be more muslim radicalists than in any other religion. I wonder why. Maybe they misinterpret their religion or just want publicity. In India, most muslims actually don't go around bombing up themselves. However, in neighboring pakistan that seems to be more of a probability. Now this begs the conjecture that maybe it's the environment that people are brought up in.

If people hate you without really knowing you, then there not really worth the worry of asking "WHY?" Unfortunately, history will always come into play on how individuals of today perceive other groups of people. A recent topic I had the pleasure of reading proves just that. This is not to say that these emotions are right, but then again, they may not necessarily be wrong either. Unexplained hatred is generally a result of fear. Take away the fear and people might risk actually becoming imeshed with another culture beside their own.

It's all stupid interpretations. Just like how hitler took to blaming my people for the great depression, religion has been used to use people since it has started. Muslim might be a peace loving religion but these terrorist groups use it as an excuse to kill.
Everyone has his own religion and each should be tolerating, to think badly of someone just because of his religion isn't just bad its pure racism!

I think is not a religion problem, the US have serious racist problems in a lot of states, in my country we don't have that kind of problems, no matter the religion, what the people is wearing, the color of the skin or anything like that.
