Anyone play WoW? I just started playing it like a month and a half ago. It's pretty cool. 
Personally, I'm usually on the PTR, as I believe it to be more fun when everyone is equal... And I love helping out Blizzard test the new features out.
Anyone excited about the Wrath of the Lich King announcement? It caught my eye about three weeks ago, when the notice first came up. ^.^ I hope it's as good, and better, as TBC. TBC is fairly fun, especially the Blood Elves and Draenei, as those are obviously the new races in it. ^.^ So WotLK was announced like two months after TBC came out... That's a bit weird. I can't wait!! Think about it, Death knights a new class!! 
Anyways, chat with me about WoW here.
My main is still only level 10 (I believe).
His name is... I forget. I don't feel like getting on right now just to check.

Although WoW looks fun i'm not going to be playing it. I'm against games that make you pay monthly for them (mainly why i like 2Moons and Guild Wars, 1 feww on Guild Wars when you buy the game, and 2Moons has a Cash Shop where you can buy ingame stuff, but is free to play)
I can't afford to pay for monthly games, and although the makers have a right to charge monthly as they spent a lot of money making it i think there should only be a single fee, then a sort of donation system where you can buy items

Well, I refuse to even try it, because I'm afraid I'd become addicted. 
I've seen people throwing away their lives because of that game One guy even got so bored of WoW he just slept whole day against boredom. Pretty sad

There is only a subscription fee for playing on official Blizzard servers, the private servers are free to play on.

There aren't any really good private servers out there for WoW. They all have user caps and I don't see how it's going to be fun to play if there are only 2000 people playing on the server.
I don't play WoW simply because I don't want to pay each month to play a game. It's a total waste of money in my opinion and games like Guild Wars and dozens of other free MMO's show that you don't need a monthly fee to keep your MMO running.

I've never actually played it (nor wanted to) so I couldn't really comment on how good they are. And since I have no idea how big the world is, I don't know what 2000 people on one server would be like.
Personally I only play FPS on my PC.

I thought those were illegal ones, and Blizzard is trying to get them shut down..  Correct me if I'm wrong!

Yeah, a lot of people from my school I know do that also. Some spend 6 hours or more every day playing WoW..
I usually play Lineage. I'm not addicted to it, I play a couple of hours every two days, it boosts my mood a bit.

Every people I know that plays WoW is addicted to it. They'd rather spent hours playing it that going out with friends. That's why I hate Wow...
Like you voldemort I used to play Lineage, but got bored. =P |

My main is a level 27 Gnome Warlock on the Spirestone Realm. His name is Gleffik. I haven't played for a little more than a month, but I plan to get back to it as soon as possible.
