TNA seems to be doing the same repetitive things like WWE does, so I don't understand how you don't really care about WWE much?

TNA = Jeff Jarrett promo on almost each show. Lights going out and Sabu coming out. Abyss and/or Monty Brown squashing some jobber. America's Most Wanted retaining the tag titles by cheating and so on.

Granted, TNA has the X division which is better than the cruiserweight division in WWE. TNA has a somewhat better tag division as well, but other than those 2 things, TNA isn't that much better than WWE.

Now TNA has to use a baseball player to grab some attention on ESPN and so on. Almost all the appearances by sports people and celebrities are just cheap ways for them to try to draw in some more fans. I think they should rely on their matches, and not celebrities or sports stars.

WCW did it, as did WWF/E, I realize that. But WWE really hasn't done anything involving sports or celebrities in a while I believe.

As long as TNA remains just in Orlando, Florida, I think they will just be some other fed compared to WWE. They have a show on Spike, but so what? It's only on Saturday, with the sometime prime time during the week special.

TNA needs to tour, and certainly needs to put DVD's out at more stores to get more fans. I don't even think they have considered touring at all. When I say tour, I mean actual TNA house shows and TV tapings. Not taking the cheap way out, by having TNA stars appear and wrestle at random indy shows.

Okay Raw is way better and I'm not being biased here because here are my matchups, Bigshow defeats bobby lashely (this is just what in real life would've happend), batista defeats kane, hbk defeats rey mysterio, chris masters falls to the RKO and carlito and hardy would be tough to decide. But Raw is much more entertaining, I found this whole deal a load of ****. Kane and Bigshow should've carried Raw to victory but oh well, what can you do.

The x division is better than the wwe's raw championship, it at least has some talented contenders. TNA is my favorite because its just progressing, unlike the WWE, which is clearly regressing, quickly.

Tonight is the TNA Impact special on Spike TV.

Christian Cage makes his in-ring match debut at the special, Samoa Joe faces Amazing Red, Chicago White Sox catcher AJ Pierzynski makes an appearance plus more.

I think it's just a bit cheap of TNA to pull the sports star angle. WWF/E and WCW did it many times over the years, but as of late, WWE hasn't done it for a while. TNA should rely on their talent, instead of a sports star coming in. Which they know will air on ESPN and other places, and possibly draw in some new viewers.

Apparently some big announcement is planned for TNA soon (I don't think it will be announced at Impact though). My guess for it is Impact will be 2 hours. I believe the announcement will be revealed at Turning Point, their next PPV, but I'm not completely sure.

Well, i think that its a good move on the tna, because before they can consistently rely on their talent, they need viewers, to spread the web of publicity.

TNA really needs to tour, then people would be able to see it for themselves in person. That would be alot better than just spreading TNA by using a sports star.

Rumors of a tour have been known for a little bit, but I won't believe it until I see it.

In other news concerning TNA: Sonny Siaki didn't agree to a new contract and is now gone from TNA. Rumors of him going to WWE have surfaced.

In WWE news: Christy Hemme and Tajiri are gone now. Tajiri's last match with WWE is set for Raw.

Stacy Keibler is going to be part of "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC, starting in January.

As for the whole new GM of Raw situation: Dusty Rhodes or a McMahon seems like the most obvious choice. I personally would like Dusty Rhodes or someone else to be GM, not a McMahon.

Turning Point for this Sunday seems to be finalized now, here is the complete card. Some spoilers ahead, just so you are warned now.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
World champ Jeff Jarrett vs Rhino

My pick- Jarrett probably. I doubt Rhino will be the one to defeat him. Rhino's short title reign was just to please the fans. I somehow think either Christian Cage or Monty Brown will be next champ. I'm hoping Brown, because Cage shouldn't be pushed to the moon. He is great and all, but doesn't need a main event push so soon.

X champ AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe

My pick- AJ Styles. This should be match of the night I would assume.

Tag champs America's Most Wanted vs Team 3-D (Tables match)

My pick- Team 3-D. It's their match, the tables match, pretty obvious they will probably win.

Sabu vs Abyss (Barbed Wire match)

My pick- Sabu.

Christian Cage vs Monty Brown (Winner is #1 contender to world title)

My pick- This is a hard one, but I'm betting Christian will win this and continue TNA's not needed main event push of him.

4 Live Kru vs Team Canada (8 man tag)

My pick- 4 Live Kru probably.

Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt+Dale Torborg (with AJ Pierzynski) vs Diamonds in the Rough (Bobby Heenan will be doing commentary for this match)

My pick- Sabin, Dutt+Torborg, obviously. How Heenan plays into the picture is a mystery, but I'm thinking he will end up managing someone in this match. Or at least become a part time TNA commentator.

Raven vs a mystery opponent

My pick- Raven most likely. The mystery opponent is set to be Chris Kanyon. I hope TNA keeps him on fulltime, he is a great talent that deserves to be back with a major promotion.

Matt Bentley+Austin Aries vs Roderick Strong+Alex Shelley

My pick- Hard to decide, but I will go with Strong+Shelley.

In some other wrestling news- Lex Luger has been arrested again, because of 2 felonies. A drug charge, and from that drug charge: a fugitive from justice charge.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown is tonight.

Hah I hope Randy Orton beats Undertaker down but that probably won't happen obviously (of course) because we all know that when it truly comes down to it, all WWE match winners are decided in the end to go to the more popular person or at least to twist the plot later to the more popular person. For example, chris benoit vs. booker T, chris benoit is losing 3-0 now (saw it thursday cause canadian television), sorry for the spoiler to anyone who read this but in the end it's obviously or probably going to twist benoit's way.

As I've said before, I think TNA has some really good wrestling. They have lots of talent in their roster, and if they actually have a chance to compete with the WWE, if they actually have a chance to grow. From what I have seen with TNA so far, even though their overall product isn't as good as the WWE as of yet, the in-ring performances is pretty darn good.

From a lot of people that I talk to, a lot of the "pure" wrestling fans are at times getting restless with the WWE. And mostly because they are really tired of seeing John Cena as champion. A lot of fans recognize that Cena isn't really that great at wrestling, and that all of the people he's faced since his WWE victory has carried him in his matches. The only reason he's probably the champ is because he's got a good gimmick that represents the company well. And now with rumors of having Cena hold the belt a little longer, a lot of fans are getting pissed and trying to find an alternative. Cena always "beating the odds" to hold on to the title is getting a little old, and some fans are tired of seeing it, and tired of being forced to accept him being champion.

Although I don't believe Jeff Jarrett is a better world champion than Batista, I do think that he's a better world champ than Cena (since Jarrett can cut promos AND actually wrestle), which is one reason why I think TNA could actually compete if they actually get to grow. I think they have their share of breathtaking performers which is competitive with the WWE (WWE would probably have a good share of these performers also if they respect their cruserweight division). But, ultimately, they won't get a chance to grow if they just stay in Orlando, not tour, and establish a fanbase in other regions. Sure, the extra PR with the baseball players will help a little bit and it's a start in the right direction, but it won't nearly be enough if they want to compete with the WWE.

But as far as TNA goes, I didn't watch the Turning Point PPV, but some highlights are...

Christian Cage defeats Monty Brown
Sabu defeats Abyss
Team 3D defeats AMW
Samoa Joe defeats AJ Styles to win the X-division title
Jeff Jarrett defeats Rhino to retain the NWA title
Sting is announced to make his return to wrestling

I'm really interested in seeing how Sting is gonna be involved in TNA.

I'm also really interested in seeing Monday Night Raw tonight. It should be good.

This is the first RAW in more than 3 years where Eric Bischoff is not going to be the General Manager. I am really interested in seeing who is going to replace him. Some people are saying Shane McMahon. I'm kind of interested in seeing where they are gonna go with this angle. With Smackdown having a "babyface" general manager, I am wondering if RAW is gonna also gonna have a general manager that is a fan favorite. For some reason, along with Shane McMahon, I also think that Stephanie McMahon, and Mick Foley are also in the running for the GM position.

But according to the RAW preview, there are 5 huge matches booked for tonight to see who will qualify for the elimination chamber match to join Cena for the WWE title New Years Revolutions. The matches are Kurt Angle vs Ric Flair, Chris Masters vs Viscera, Shelton Benjamin vs Carlito, Shawn Michaels vs Big Show, Triple H vs Kane. The people who I think would qualify are, Kurt Angle, Chris Masters, Shelton Benjamin, Shawn Michaels, and Kane. I think that Big Show and Triple H rivalry that they have been hinting on for weeks is actually gonna start to get into fruition tonight. But, as far as the elimination chamber goes, I really hope that John Cena loses here. It is seriously about time that he lost that belt.

One more thing, WWE Armageddon is scheduled for this Sunday. There really ain't a lot of buildup going into it, other than the Raw vs Smackdown tag-team match, and the Hell in a Cell match between Undertaker and Randy Orton. The US title best of seven match should be interesting to, but I honestly think it's obvious that Benoit would win that match, just because to have a wrestler of his caliber get swept in a series is just wrong. That match will still end up going into 7 matches. But other than that, the card so far looks kind of weak. Hopefully, they'd announce a couple more interesting matches soon on Friday Night Smackdown.

How they started with Sting's return to TNA last night was just stupid.

Sting's music played, and in the ring a chair with various things was there. A baseball bat and other things.

Teasing it like that, is just pointless. People would rather see Sting himself, than a chair with his things at it.

Sting in my opinion, is way past his prime. TNA only got a one year contract with him, so hopefully he leaves after that. Wrestling should be about young stars, and not just bringing in name people just to pull in old viewers of WCW and/or WWF.

In pro wrestling video game news, Smackdown vs Raw 2006 for PSP is set to come out tomorrow. It's almost exactly like the PS2 version, with a few new things. It has Jake Roberts as a legend, a few mini games and that's about it for new things. Not really worth it in my opinion. 40 bucks for a handheld game is too much, when a console game is 50 and it's usually much better.

Raw spoilers from last night.
.
.
.
.
.

Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels, Kane, Carlito and Chris Masters qualified to be in the elimination chamber.

I agree with Angle, Shawn and Kane, but them pushing Carlito+Masters into it is a bit wrong. It's pretty obvious Carlito or Masters won't be winning the title in January. If they somehow pull off the major upset, I can somehow bet they will lose the title at the next Raw to Cena or whoever.

No new GM was announced, but Vince did talk to some people that wanted to be GM: Chris Nowinski, Dusty Rhodes and some others.

I personally would like Rhodes or Nowinski as GM, both men have great charisma. But knowing WWE, I can just bet a McMahon will be GM full time.

Also at Raw, Mickie James beat Victoria to win a Women's title shot at New Year's Revolution.

Be sure to check out Heat this weekend, it features Tajiri's last match in WWE.

WWE seems to not care about Armageddon much. There isn't much of a match list at all. It's basically revolving around Orton/Undertaker in hell in a cell and Batista+Rey Mysterio vs Big Show+Kane. Other matches as of now are: Benoit/Booker T (match 4 of 7 for U.S title), Tag champs MNM vs Mexicools. I believe that's all, Juventud vs Kid Kash might be added. Not much of a PPV. There is plenty of talent on Smackdown, yet they don't even know how to book a decent PPV for December.

Batista is still hurt I believe, which is just dumb. He shouldn't be in the ring, and shouldn't even have that title anymore if he has been hurt this long. He has been hurt since November 8, and WWE acts like it doesn't even exist. I'm pretty sure it's an actual injury, but I guess he doesn't need surgery or anything just yet.

WWE keeping him as champ is just a mistake. But I guess him being stripped or losing it now, will basically mean he will regain it when he is fully recovered. So either way, it's a no win situation.

Here is some upcoming TV previews:

Friday Smackdown preview for tomorrow: Batista+Rey Mysterio vs Tag champs MNM, Kid Kash vs Super Crazy, Bobby Lashley in action and more.

TNA Impact preview for this Saturday: Samoa Joe vs Jay Lethal (his TNA debut), Team 3-D vs Diamonds in the Rough. Rhino in action and more.

If you want to see Tajiri's last match with WWE, watch the internet edition of Heat this weekend. I believe he fights Gregory Helms.

Well, I wrestle for my high school as a heavy weight (216-275) so I'm all for the big guys like Kane, Big Show and The Undertaker. Very Happy
