The one thing I like about the Ipod is the touch has a web browser but having that capability doesn't override the other aspects. |

The price vs value of an iPod is terrible anyway... _________________ Dilly dally, shilly shally. |

Agreed. The iPod Touch which he was referring to in his last post isn't too bad though with its big screen and multitouch for panning and zooming in web pages and other displayed contents. Not unique - I know - but I have to hand it to Apple for their implementation. _________________

I don't think many people would refer to that as stealing. Basically all these handheld gadgets, whether they are made by Apple or not, are moving towards becoming one killergadget that has the sum of all features of 'classic' gadgets.
I'm surprised I haven't seen one featuring a lighter yet. _________________ If you can read this, my post is on an alternating background. |

I dislike the merging of gadgets if the tasks it performs are sub-par in its tasks.
I am probably going to get the Cowon S9 unless I am recommended something better in the next day. |

I got the Cowon S9 today and love it. The screen is amazing and the audio quality is limited by the headphones I was using which were the stock ones.
Anyways it has flash 7 support for apps and games. Looks like their is some but not that much development for the player. I think I may start attempting to develop something for it this summer. Any recommendations for beginning to develop in flash. |

Most phones and audioplayers use Flash Lite. (Flash Lite 2 is basically Flash 7 with less features and some mobile-related functionality added)
The best way to start with it would be a tutorial like: http://www.republicofcode.com/...../litegame/
I'm actually planning on making a Risk game for the Cowon iAudio D2 (also supports Flash) However, I haven't worked with Flash for years, so I'm not sure I can still do it
Good luck. _________________ My new site |
