Its not really a dojin game, its more a frantic space shooter. The best way I could think to describe it is; Space Invaders meets R Type meets Time Crisis. Sorry thats doesnt help much :/

Ah I define a "dojin" as an abbreviation of doujinshi, which by my understanding is manga drawn by amateurs rather than by professional artists.

The game is called Torus Trooper, and its 3D (requires DirectX to play)

The game revolves around clearing levels at increasingly fast speeds, how fast you move through the level, and how quickly you clear the bosses.

Yeah, that's the technical definition, but I just think of it as being any fanmade sort of stuff.

Hmm, I don't have this game. Seems interesting. I'll have to get it when I go home Thursday.

This game looks really familiar... I think I played a game that was similiar to this sometime ago on the computer. It was one of those old-skool games that came with the computer.

You can disable your proxy ever so easily, just go to connections and take off the ip that goes to the proxy.

Then you can use google to find an anonymity proxy and you can access anything!

The proxy at our school is essentially invincible.
It works like this...

My Computer < Proxy Switch (hardware) < LAN < Proxy Switch (hardware) < School Server < Proxy (Hardware!!!!!!!) < The outside world

The first proxy switch allows my computer to connect to the LAN.
The second proxy switch allows the LAN to connected to the school server.
The server itself is connected to the actual proxy, which is actually a piece of hardware that automatically updates itself with blocked sites and stuff. The proxy then connects our school to the outside world.

Hence, all traffic that enters and exits the school goes through the proxy--and that's why I can't disable it no matter what.

The only way I have found to disable the proxy is to run the internet through a software CGI proxy hosted on another server, and feed information through it. But that's only for HTTP.

If I simply remove the proxy IP, I will be completely disconnected to the net and LAN.

Any mod's to the game? I converted some mp3's I had laying around and used them for the sound tracks instead and then some cound clips that went better with the level clear and expoltion of the boss's. I want to get a decent sound laser for the guns, but can't seem to find any.

What bands to you suggest to listen to while playing this?
I am looking for fast metal / techo

It is a nice game.. btw. Twisted Evil
